Leah looked at herself once more in the mirror. She combed her jet black hair once more and then added some styling gel onto the comb. She brushed it all in, making her hair unnaturally straight. Her hair was perfect. Her makeup was gorgeous, giving her a natural look. The secret was to wear so much makeup that it looked like you were wearing none at all. "Leah. Leah." She prepped herself, a small smile growing on her face. She was simply stunning and her party would be too.
Of course she hadn't told her mother she was throwing a party. Her mother would have forbidden it. But her mother and her younger brother, Seth, were away, doing something for the council. So why not have a party? She wasn't planning on hiding it. Of course, of course, of course the fact that she was having a party would get out sooner or later (mostly in a few hours) to her neighbors, even less if the wolves showed up.... She wasn't planning on not getting caught. Oh yes. She knew she would get caught and she knew that her mother would punish her...but later. Her mother wouldn't find out till the party was on and her mother wasn't the person to exactly walk right in and ruin it.
Leah pushed up her breasts with her push-up bra (not that she needed it but the dress she was wearing looked fab with it) as she began to think about the party settings. She had tiny pizza rolls, sodas, a bit of alcohol, chips, dip and she was hoping that her friends would bring stuff too. Not to mention she was supplying the tunes. "Cups." She started off in. She could have hit herself. She was in need of paper cups. Her mother would kill, kill her if she let people in a wild rampaging party use her cups. They would most likely be dropped, tripped on and spilled so thus paper.
She walked barefoot into the kitchen and looked under the counter, sure enough they had paper cups. She opened up the package and staked them up on the table. Then she walked over to her small living room and turned on the music, she decided to start her party off with Life is Beautiful by Sixx. I swear to God, you loosers had better NOT show up at my party! She warned to her fellow werewolves. Sam of course could come, and he could even bring Emily. She would show that girl how she didn't belong with Sam and how she certainly didn't belong at any party of hers. That girl was hideous while Leah was stunning, words could not describe how she viewed herself.
Leah walked back into her bedroom making sure her room looked alright. It was clean as were the rest of the rooms in her house. She was expecting people to open up, trample inside and have un-protected sex. That came with the territory of having a party. She gave her hair another brushing and then she slipped on her black high heels which matched her low cut black velvet dress. The music was blaring, she looked hot, and now all that was left was for her friends to arrive. And if she heard correctly, someone was approaching her front door.

thought the wolf intelligently to himself, shutting his mind up so his comment wouldn’t reach any other eavesdropping mind. A small whimper as if a grunt past through the muzzle closing as the furry body took a silent step over the foliage, surprisingly making hardly a rustle with the big mass the wolf’s body presented. Tonight, Jacob would take a little walk and visit an old acquaintance. Steady and swiftly was his gait as his huge paws carried him. The forest covered him, yet soon would the openings of the little town would be closely nearby, and not much would hide a wolf of this size except with pure darkness. Jacob twisted around fallen logs, passing the brush by only in an instant. He knew this forest like the back of his hand, or paw, which ever one that was suitable at the time being. Jacob would probably could calculate that he would see Leah’s house in a matter of ten minutes, maybe five if he would quicken his gait. Quil and Embry wouldn’t be far behind from him, considering no one really did have parties. They could always rely on Leah to do whatever they were missing, especially a little entertainment here and there. Jacob didn’t worry about his patrol at the boarder line as much as tonight. The other werewolves could handle the duty of watching for the unwanted pests called the Bloodsuckers at their boarders. Tonight he would just want to forget about all these matters and have some fun at least for a few hours and who wouldn’t want to get on Leah’s nerves. Of course Jacob knew about his non existent and purposely forgotten party invitation, yet he knew of her whereabouts when she even thought of the idea. A curse for her, a fortune for him. But the talk of the party would get out eventually in the small reservation, actually surprised that Sue didn’t hear about it already, Seth by good chance did know, probably saving this piece of information later for sibling rivalry. And if the talk wouldn’t seal up the deal, Jacob would of saw that Leah’s exclusive invitation had reached Sam Uley’s mind. Curse or fortune for this telepathic soap opera, Jacob still didn’t know. Jacob decided to take his walk a little slower tonight than he expected, yet in no time, his eyes held their gaze at the familiar house of the Clearwaters. With a swish of his tail, Jacob darted mysteriously and with undercover smoothness, he crossed the neighboring yards to the designated residence. As he approached the house, music could be heard blasting through the walls, the bass pounding in the song. To Jacob’s ears, it felt like noise as they twitched in annoyance from the ever growing sound. It reminded him briefly of the night of Bella’s graduation party that the bloodsuckers, mostly the psychic one, had thrown for her. The Bloodsuckers; just the thought made his throat growl with a deep, threatening, and almost terrifying state. No he commanded himself in his mind. No thoughts like that tonight. Just then suddenly his mind was occupied with concern from Quil and Embry. Jacob was surprised that the pack even put up with him, with all of this loud thoughts as if he was the loudest, echoing through not only in his mind, but the others as well. Well, some already were disguisted with it not to mention names. A thought of thanks went out to the other two werewolves as Jacob heard yet another voice enter his mind, and a familiar and unwanted voice at that. ”I swear to God, you losers had better not show up at my party.” Echoed Leah’s thought that stung with a warning. A low rumble, as if a small chuckle came from Jacob’s throat as he stepped into the back yard of the Clearwaters residence as another being was already arriving by car in the front. Not too fashionably late. In a matter of moments, the shadow of a wolf shifted into a form of a human, Jacob’s original shadow. Throwing on his cut up blue jeans and his pair of worn shoes on his bare feet, he quietly looked into the window of Leah’s room, with her inside, brushing her hair, gawking at herself in the mirror as if she caught Narcissism. The window was opened just a bit for him to make the crack larger for him to get his body through. Silently he jumped onto the window pane, and sat in the window frame as Leah was occupying with her thoughts. Crossing his arms against his chest, he finally made his presence known with a chuckle. Well, well, you seem to have misplaced my invitation. commented Jacob, his voice in a mocking tune. ooc: I'll join in ^-^ [/ul]

oOc-Bad Jake, bad!
“I didn’t misplace your invitation Black. You weren’t invited.” Leah replied not bothering to turn around to face him. She could see him through her vanity mirror. He was wearing pants, dirty shoes, no shirt. Leah rolled her eyes as she felt the hairbrush in her hand begin to bend. She put it on her dresser before it snapped in half. It was wooden and had been her mothers till she gave it to her for a birthday a few years ago. She flipped the wooden hairbrush around this time bent it on purpose so that it was now back to normal without a little curve.
“What are you doing here? You and my friends have nothing in common!” She emphasized. Seriously, what was Jake doing here? It wasn’t as if they hung out and talked with the same people. He had the werewolf boys and she had the friends who she hung out with pre-werewolf. She stood up from her seat and turned around to glance at him. “God, I mean look at you!” She swore under her breath lightly, but she still knew that Jake could hear her. “Get out before someone sees you.” She hissed at him. It was in her nature to start growling. She was controlling herself. It would not be good to loose it at her own party.
She had never been friends with Jake Black before and would never be friends with him. Yes, they had eaten dinner at each other’s houses before but that didn’t classify them as friends. For one thing, Leah had always been on the phone then. Another thing was that Leah was several years older than him. Black didn’t have any right coming to her party. It wasn’t her fault that no one in La Push threw parties. And she was going to have to take the heat when her mother found out. She had a right to invite who she wanted. There would be no party crashing at her party! Especially from Jacob Black.
She picked up her wooden hairbrush and with all her might she chucked it at Black’s head. He did know that she had had a conversation with Bella Swan, not to mention the other Jake...? Bella had told her some very interesting things. Well she didn’t tell her the interesting things perhaps; it was all in her body language. It couldn’t be any clearer than day that she knew. She knew personal things. Things about her and Sam and Emily. Things that a La Push outsider wouldn’t have known. Bella had known her name. It would be odd for a girl she had just seen and met once to remember her name. But when names come with stories....
She was glaring now at Jake. She was so pissed off that it wasn’t even funny. “Get-the-f**k-out.” She spoke each word slowly, hissing them. It was true that Jake was second in command to their leader, Sam. But to Leah Jake was still Jake. He was the annoying kid who enjoyed subtly pissing her off.

replied Jacob, his remark oozing with the sarcasm he dripped onto the words as he watched her reflection in the mirror. He laid back his head, resting it on the window pane as his strangling lock of his black hair mixing with the russet color of his skin. As he did, his brown eyes rolled in his sockets, clearly seen in the mirror for Leah to see his reflection. Jacob let his gaze roll back to Leah, seeing the agitation that was already boiling inside the blood of Leah, surprised to suppress such anger that she evidently wanted to show him. His eyes flashed to her hand as she gripped the hair brush too tightly for its handle to contain pressure. Jacob’s look swept back up at Leah, feeling no edginess that she was trying to put on him with her anger trick, all of the pack had their tempers short, he too even had his moments, yet this was a bit hysterical he admitted. Yet he could see where her anger from him came from. To put it short, he said too much that he should have to another and that was that, whether if it was a sin he committed for him to be hated like this so fiercely. As she stood, Jacob stayed still as comfortable as ever, or as comfortable one could get from sitting on a window pane that was plainly too small for an at ease sitting experience. He opened his lips before he could speak again, a bit of a curve at the end, thinking of his next remark with a sigh. To tell you the truth. I was just going to come over to comfort you before you waited too long with hope of anyone coming. His smile turned into a grin flashing his white teeth, clashing dramatically with his skin tone. Her defensiveness rose into hostility as she grasped once again the brush that laid on her dresser; suddenly it was in her hand and the next moment, it was flying through the air whirling toward his head. With a quick reflex, Jacob leaned forward just in the knick of time as the brush disappeared into the darkness outside. He turned his head away from Leah, trying to pinpoint the location of the brush in the dark. It was just about a few feet from the window opening. Jacob turned his head in the direction of Leah, clearly annoyed with his presence. The brush move sealed the deal with that. That could of hit me, ya’know. responded Jacob, gesturing his head out the window into the shadows. With the warning in her last words that she hissed at him, Jacob made no intent of backing down with a threat, nor took the seriousness of how she spoke to him with her venomous words. He heaved a sigh, dropping his legs from the window pane, into the side of her bedroom, jumping off, his feet landing on the floor of the room. Leah, Leah. breathed Jacob, in a teasing manner. That’s not how you treat a guest, otherwise no one would of come. His smiled curved again, waiting for the reaction of her to be greater than last time. The dresser would probably be the second thing that would be flying at his head. Before he said another word, the sound of the doorbell ricocheted through the house with the first guests at the door. With one swift stride, he was past Leah and in the threshold of the door. ’Think its for you. added Jacob as he past through. ooc: hmm. jacob is getting to be a lil' misfit. XD [/ul]

oOc-I don’t think he’s very lil’ though. xP
“I don’t care if you’re saddened or not. You’re NOT invited. Get out.” She yelled at him. His words were so maddening. He was being sarcastic. She wanted to punch him! A low purring hiss escaped from her throat as Jake rolled his eyes. As she watched him lean against her window pane, she wanted to lift him up and bash his head into it the open window bane. She held her breath as she took a small breath so small that it could have been her normal breath. She held is as she stopped to think. Jake had saved her life (though she could have taken that vampire) but still he had no right to invade HER party.
“Oh f**k off.” She replied. She knew that people would be coming to her party. And she knew that Jake knew that too. Parties were a rarity here in La Push and when someone had a party everyone came, or tried to come. Perhaps she should have hired a bouncer. She licked her bottom lip before speaking. “You were hoping to get laid with one of my friends eh? George suite you? Or what about Frank?” She snickered silently. She crossed her arms as she said that putting her crossed hands below her breasts. “What happened to that leech-lover?” She said referring to Bella. “Finally give up on her? Wanna get with a real man?” She laughed out loud. She ran her hands through her dark black hair.
“You know it wouldn’t have.” Leah said replying to his comment about her throwing the hairbrush at him. There was no way the brush would have hit him. If she wanted to hit him then she would have had to catch him off guard. But Jake Black was anything but off guard. She knew very well that when she threw the brush at him it would have missed. “Go pick up my brush.” She demanded. She wouldn’t go and get it herself. But she knew that she would have to go and get it after the party. “If I’m treating you like nuts why aren’t you leaving?” She asked slyly. She leaned against her vanity dresser as her eyes followed him around the room.
“God. It had better not be them.” She hissed under her breath as she followed Jake out of her bedroom and down the hallway. The ‘them’ she was referring to was Jake’s best friends Quil and Embry. The three of them were always together, more or less with the other werewolves in the Quileute gang. Why didn’t they come through her window also? She rolled her eyes and huffed softly. “If you’re going to f**k do it elsewhere.” She complained. She stopped in her dinning room near the boom box which was playing the loud music; her hands lay on either side of her. She moved her right hand onto her hip as she waited for Jake to answer the door.
“Just because your dad’s council King doesn’t mean this is your house.” She retorted wickedly. He was answering the door as if this was his house. She then turned up the volume from the boom box. She was allowing the radio to play, a rock music station. Her ears were buzzing from the music. It was too loud for her and her werewolf ears. Leah could hear the buzz of a fly’s wings, she could hear the sound of a cricket pull their legs together and sing without standing near it, she could hear a song with the volume being on low. She had exceptional hearing. And she knew that if the music was bothering her, it was bothering him also.

retorted Jacob defensively, his voice noticeable lower. His heart winced and ached when Leah referred to Bella in such a way, now that made his blood boil to a dangerous level. Yet he wouldn’t give Leah the satisfaction of such pain that stabbed him in the wound that he was trying to sew up. Of course, it would haunt him the rest of these days as this creature were part of his blood and all the way down to the building blocks in his DNA. His composure in his face won from the stab against Bella, yet he wasn’t so sure about the look in his eyes anymore, always a window to the soul. The cool and calm posture around his lips trembled, he wouldn’t give her that pleasure of her getting to him. Jacob shook his head, his hand combing through his glossy strangled hair as he made his way to the threshold of the door. Her demand to go outside and get her brush was out of the question. He wasn’t that stupid; if he went out, there was no way back in and annoy her even more. Oh yes, there were ways, but would Jacob do them, no; yet he couldn’t say that with Quil and Embry for certain. I don’t do fetch. answered Jacob as he past through the threshold. For a brief moment, he stopped in the dark hallway of the house. His footsteps stopped and a brief moment, he leaned his should on the wall, the features of his face suddenly downcast, wish he could numb Bella’s name in his name, not hurting in the depth of his heart. Leah just went a little too far. Before Leah could notice the sudden disheartened pause, Jacob made his way down the hallway. This music, such noise, gave Jacob a headache already. He ignored Leah’s comment about his father, he would just let her talk nonsense. He never thought of himself high and mighty just because of his father, not even once. Its not his place to have that responsibility just yet. Jacob turned his head back to watch Leah go into the dining room. To her stupidity, she turned up the music even louder. This was the way she was going to get back at him, blasting out his eardrums. Instead of going to the door, he took a seat on one of the living room chairs, leaning his back fully rested upon the chair’s back. Aren’t you going to get that? It’s not my party. inquired Jacob, as he grinned. ooc: short, sorry. working on two posts isn't my speciality. [/ul]

oOc-That’s alright. Bah, I couldn’t think of anything else to write. -_-;
“Thee Jacob Black getting defensive are we?” She responded immediately. She told it how it was. And Jacob Black was getting very defensive about something. She doubted that it was her gay comments, more how she had sunk below the belt low and uttered Bella’s name. Unfortunately for Black, Leah wasn’t going to stop until he left. “I wonder where she is?” She asked herself out loud pretending to be absorbed by her where are Bella thoughts. “It’s a cold night.” She replied as she leaned against her kitchen counter, knocking her hand into one of four barstools. “I bet she’s cuddled up with a mug of coco and a vampire.” Though she couldn’t probably be heard over the music. Was she kidding? She knew he could hear her.
Her high heels from her shoes dug into her carpet. Her lips turned into a curve of displeasure as she watched Black seat himself on one of the chairs. “D**n right it isn’t.” She muttered through gritted teeth as she walked towards Jacob. He was making himself right at home during her party. As the doorbell rang again she pushed the chair Jake was sitting in forwards. And then she grabbed the back of another chair and swung it at him, trying to hit him offensively. This was way childish but she wanted him out of his party. If she knew he had any mind to stay she would have pushed him out of her bedroom window.
“Get the hell out.” She hissed. She was trying to be quiet, trying to not be heard from the people out on her doorstep. There was no way she was letting him stay for her party. This party was all about her and there was no way she was sharing the spotlight with her friends. Some of them unfortunately thought that Jake was hot. There was no reasonable explanation that she could come up with to tell them that he was younger than he looked, way younger.

began Jacob but couldn't finish his question before he saw a chair being swung at his head. With a self reflex, Jacob's arms went up, shielding his head to be protected by the blow. This wasn't like the punch that Bella threw at him when he kissed her the first time, this one was more his equal status. A chair in a werewolf's hands, not to mention this she-wolf was annoyed at Jacob's presence. So betting with his instincts, she would of gone full force. The chair made contact with his arms, enough as a crack and a boom as it made contact with the skin of Jacob. Certainly the chair couldn't survive the force of two werewolves. And it didn't. Once it made contact, the chair was then now into other different pieces. There goes one of Sue's chairs. When the pieces fell from gravity's pull, Jacob let his arms drop to his side; he could feel the impact, yet it wasn't anything that would hurt him. Blast that music, that was her cover up. She just wanted to hide the noise from thrown furniture. Jacob looked up at her as she spat out her last challenge for him to leave. What fun would that do, yet he hardly would stay any longer if he had to take another blow from Leah with another piece of furniture. He didn't come to wreck the place. His lips parted as he couldn't help but let out a chuckle as he brushed off his arm with the little dust the impact created. You know, Sam would never come if he knew that furniture would be flying around. said Jacob, a bit surprised that he even said the rude comment himself. She taunted him with Bella, couldn't he do the same thing, or was that just bad revenge. He calmly stood up, bending down to pick up some of the pieces around him. Once he had his arms full, he turned toward Leah. Aren't you going to answer that? repeated Jacob as he made his way into the kitchen to dispose of the pieces. ooc: changed it on meh, did we. XD [/ul]

oOc-Well how many opportunities do I have to hit someone with a chair?
Leah knew when the chair made contact with Jake that it wouldn’t survive, not in a million years with both of their strengths. The chairs lifespan was over a good thirty years, perhaps these were the first and only chairs her parents had owned. Her heart stopped with realization to what she had just done. Her family was no where near a rich family. Her father had just passed away, heart attack. She had to live with the guilt of killing her father. But she also had to live with another guilt. They could barely afford his funeral. They could barely afford to burry her father. And now she had ruined one of their precious pieces of furniture.
While fighting back tears her eyes were set on the remains of the chair. It was broken, beyond fixing. It looked shredded, something a wood shredder could do. Subconsciously she looked at that chair, held her breath and thought of her father. She was already frozen but if not she would be at Jacobs newest comment. He was bringing up Sam just as she had brought up Bella. Unfair was unfair. She probably deserved it. No. She knew she deserved it. “Leave him out of this.” She tried in her best neutral voice possible. It wouldn’t be good to show emotion to Jake. He would take it further and further. One thing was clear though. He had sunk down to her level. She could be happy about that.
Silent she watched Jacob pick up the pieces to her fathers chair. Her mother would be pissed. Her brother would be sad and disappointed. He probably already knew about the chair too. They were barely getting by but they would. And Leah destroying a chair her father used to frequent was not helping their situation-neither was throwing a wild party. As Jacob Black picked up the last pieces of the chair she turned away as if to get the door. When she was sure that enough seconds had gone by for him to get out of the room she hugged herself. What had she done? She had lost her stupid temper. She needed to get away, just after the party she needed to slip away and think. Sam riled her up into hate, Jacob talking about Sam, his mere presence too riled her up into hate and anger. The thought of her fathers chair made her hate herself.
A tear slide down her eye and she sniffled as she wiped her cheek. Immediately after she bit down hard on her lips. She wouldn’t cry. She wouldn’t f**king cry. She wouldn’t give Jacob or anyone the satisfaction of seeing her cry. Throwing this party now seemed to be one of the worst things she’d done in life. She’d done some pretty horrible things: spread rumors about Emily, laugh at Emily, spread werewolf rumors, even going as far as giving her father a heart attack though it wasn’t her fault as much as it was the leeches who caused her transformation. It was amazing how something that seemed like such fun could turn into something else, something anti-fun. Leah had wanted a good time with her friends and now her thoughts kept sliding to her leaving.
Could she leave? She had an old 1950’s Plymouth Coupe which her father had helped her buy. The Coupe was old and needed constant repairs whether it be more water, gas, wiring, fluids and so on. It probably wouldn’t get her very far out of Washington. A faster way would of course be to turn into her wolf form but then...she’d be naked if anything jeans or a loose shirt tied to her leg. She would need money and there was no way that she could actually carry it. Not to mention she had in her procession about fifteen bucks. Door, door, door. She thought. Trying to block out her thoughts. All their thoughts weren’t shared right? I mean she still did have some private thoughts. Or else all the guys would know everything about the days she was menstruating to every other personal feminine ritual.
She opened the door. “Hi. Welcome to the party.” She claimed as she opened the door, shouting over the music. Not that she needed an explanation for her delay...she gave one anyhow. “Sorry, was just setting up some last minute things. Come inside.” She beseeched.
