Leah watched Jacob with interesting detail. She knew even though she didn’t want to, if Jake made a move towards Bella that she would have to be the one to stop him. Jake Black would kill her if she didn’t. Besides, it wasn’t right to hurt a human. She was still human...for now, even though she planned on becoming one of them...a vampire. Black would probably be furious when he saw her mental images. Sorrentino in a forest with herself and Swan, him not to mention letting his anger show. It wasn’t Leah that Black would be angry at now; it would be Sorrentino, the non-official but still wolf member.
It was still un clear to her how he had managed to not join the pack. But there he was broad as day, unstable. The new wolves were always unstable. They were kept under watchful eye; under lock and key till they could control their anger, their phasing. If he didn’t cool it he would shift and run and attack Swan or herself. And Leah would regret phasing into her clothing. For one thing she would be nude when she phased back and another; she was running out of clothes-decent stuff anyhow. Not to mention she phased when she felt like phasing. Leah disliked the idea of phasing to help others or in lamented terms, she disliked phasing to help because she couldn’t control a situation, Leah Clearwater always, always had to control a situation.
Instead of answering Sorrentino right away she yawned. She yawned pulling her arms into a stretching position over her head. And in a few moments she had cleared the distance from where she was standing to a few steps away from Bella but sitting now on the dead log. As much as she disliked protecting someone who knew about her, Sam, and Emily she was a member of the pack, and as a pack member she did what she was told. She couldn’t refuse a direct order from Sam or Black.
She pulled her right foot onto the log, resting her head on it, her eyes still set on Sorrentino. She couldn’t let him out of her sight for even a moment. If he dashed fully wolfed out on her then she could have to fight back. “Why am I here?” She questioned, faking another yawn. “You know I can’t discuss pack business with you.” She replied not meaning to egg him on. He wasn’t officially part of the pack and thus did not need to know what they were doing. “But since you’re a nice guy.” She went on quickly, not leaving a gap between her words. “And I am.” She was grinning now. “A nice girl. I’ll tell you.” She was pretending to look fierce now. “We’re scouting the area for vampires.”
All the while she kept up her facial expressions, never letting on to Sorrentino how much Bella Swan stunk from the cold ones. It was such a disgusting smell from close up that she had to slow her breathing down. She hoped that the girl would think that she was just teasing, putting on another charade. Leah hoped that the vampire girl thought she was toying with Sorrentino, she would never tell the vamp girl or hint on how Sorrentino wasn’t a member of their pack. Leah didn’t need that vamp girl to give the vampires more information on them. Black owed her big time!

The uncomfortable feeling that had been in the air was now intensified as Bella’s eye moved back and fourth between the two werewolves. Leah had moved closer to Bella and was now sitting on the log that she had found the young human previously on. This made Bella nervous, not only because she knew that Leah didn’t like her, but Bella knew from Jacob that the smell of vampires was disgusting and vice versa. What worried Bella most was that some of Leah’s scent would cling to her. It wasn’t that Leah smelled bad, it was just that if she came back smelling ‘like a dog’, there would be no way that she would be able to lie to anyone about how she had spent her day. “I think I should be going now. If one of you could tell me how to get back, it would be greatly appreciated.” Bella said, her eyes lingering on their faces as she waited for their answers. While she tried to deny it by coming up with other reasons to leave, such as not wanting her father to worry, the main one was still there in her mind. Bella knew that she wouldn’t be able to take seeing anymore of the pack, especially Jacob, not after all she had put them through. - OCC:Sorry its not very good.

Jacob stared at Bella, she was afraid, it was obvious. He smirked, turning to Leah.
"The vampire-girl is scared," Jacob said, taunting Bella, he snickered, "You hang out with bloodsuckers, but you're afraid of giant wolves?" Jacob continued. He couldn't wait to tell Jacob Black. He could kiss the girl and she wouldn't shudder away from him, but when it came to Leah, another girl, and a young boy Bella had never met before, she then wanted to run away? Humor me Jacob thought.
"You've been around here enough, hanging out with Jacob Black," he sneered the name, "And you still don't know how to get home?" Jacob laughed, "Pathetic," Jacob wasn't normally a happy person, and this behavior wasn't unusual coming from him. He enjoyed being the preditor.
He looked to Leah, thingying his head slightly, "So, are we going to escort her back to Chief Swan?" he asked, taking a step closer to Bella, "Or does she need to check in with her leech-friends first?"

oOc-Sorry if my post sucks. I lost it because Word sucks now and had to re-type it. Leah concentrated on her breathing trying to heavily ignore the smell that was radiating off of Bella. If it was of any consolation to her, vampires shrunk at the smell of werewolves. It was that whole thing ‘Do onto others as you would have them onto yourself’. Or whatever that quote was. It just popped up into her mind. She hid her shuddering taking small breaths. If she could she would breathe through her shirt but that defeated the whole purpose of sitting next to Bella, right?
She had to fight with herself and her own natural habits. She rarely knew that she licked her lips until it dawned on her as lip-gloss slide on so easily. She was truly fighting with herself, fighting with her inner Leah. If she licked her lips then the scent of vampires would be in her mouth. It wasn’t as if she had any mouthwash or a toothbrush in the close vicinity. She could barely breathe the scent of Bella in, let alone have the scent in her mouth? No thanks!
She turned over putting one leg over each side of the log. Now she had both Jake and Bella in her view. Though she was at a mere disadvantage for extra seconds it would take to hop over one side of the log. Humor yourself and go home Jake. Leah thought in her mind, delivering the message to Sorrentino.
“She has legs. She can walk herself back.” Leah commented. She knew her comment would sound cold to Jake, cold to the whole wolf pack but she was doing Bella a favor. And she hoped that Bella knew that. If she and Jake had to walk Bella home then one, Charlie would ask questions, the vampires would know, etc. Bella was a big girl, she wasn’t a baby. “See those bushes behind you?” Leah asked of Bella. “About ten feet up in that direction is the path. Follow it south.” She ordered. She had better things to do that babysit Bella from Jake. She was supposed to be scouting and protecting the borders. She was also missing peak gossip conversation from her friends.

Bella’s first impression of Jacob Sorrentino was in no way going well. She had been able to tell in the first ten seconds that it wouldn’t be easy getting along with him but now she was quiet positive that it would be next to impossible. Not only had the boy been rude upon sight, he furthered to insult her by calling her chicken and then adding on that she was pathetic. While she wanted to retort back with a comment, she held back from doing so. It wouldn’t make anything better and she really didn’t feel like starting any more unnecessary fights. However, this didn’t stop her eyes from narrowing slightly.
It went without saying that she would have turned down his offer to walk her back and Bella instinctively took a step back to match Jacob’s step forward. It was a silly thing to do, since it wasn’t as if she expected him to do anything, but it was something she did anyway. Opening to her mouth to tell him that a escort was not needed, she was glad when Leah cut in, saying that Bella could walk back on her own. Taking her eyes off of Sorrentino, Bella looked over at Leah, thanking the girl mentally for the favor, some of her pervious dislike fading.
“Thanks,” Bella said, running the directions Leah had given her over and over in her head. They seemed simple enough and Bella could only hope that she wouldn’t make a fool of herself and get lost. It would be embarrassing to have them find her once again alone off the path. Turning to face the bushes behind her; Bella began to walk in the direction that Leah had instructed. She made sure to walk carefully at first, since it would be extremely easy for her to trip on the uneven ground. However, as the words that had been spoken began to run through her head, she felt her speed increase slightly. Leah had mentioned numerous times how she had been looking for vampires in the woods and the thought of anyone of the Cullens running into the female werewolf was unbearable. There was no way out of it now, Bella would most likely have to tell Edward about the surprised encounter when she got home.
